Description: We are here at the head of First Lake in the winter of 1931 in the Green River woods. During winter, loggers brought wood along the lakes or other streams for the spring drive. Logs were carried by the stream current of the Green River, to the Davis Mill which belonged to the Green River Lumber Ltd.
