Description: This picture shows the interior and exterior of a section of a Quonset hut. Built with a semicircular arching roof covered with corrugated metal, all Quonset camps were built at the Summit Depot in sections of 12 feet by 24 feet, to facilitate their transportation. When they arrived at their intended site, workers could assemble the sections.
