Description: In 1934, in the Kedgwick region. The teams who did the forest assesssment slept in tents. A team was made up of a leader and a guide. To determine the area of the cruise, they could use a chain to measure the distance or use the strip sampling method. They then walked 17.5 feet in one direction and repeated it in the opposite direction for a total width of 35 feet. The assessment was done within those limits.
