Description: The laundry room of the Summit Depot at the end of the 1950s. Notice, on the left, the clothes dryer and, far right, the washing machine. It is at the Summit Depot that everything was stored before being distributed to the other camps in the area, including food, merchandise, and equipment. The Summit Depot was located along the Right Hand Branch of Belone Brook in the Green River area and was in operation from 1938 to 1975.
