Description: From 1955 onward, Fraser hired workers during winter to retrieve logs from the bottom of the Madawaska River. This allowed the cleaning of the river and salvaging of wood. We see a horse on the Madawaska River pulling a sled that is also being pushed by a tractor.. Wood was brought to the Fraser mill in Edmundston.
