Description: Here we see the construction of the Dam at the Davis Mill in the late 1940s. Logs coming from the Green River forest floated down the Green River. From here they were transported by truck to the Fraser Pulp Mill in Edmundston. Those trucks carried the 4-foot logs to the Saint Jacques Sluice.
