Description: Various methods are used in a drive to move the 16-foot logs from their winter landings into the Little Tobique River and then to Fraser Companies Limited in Plaster Rock, N.B. Men using peavies move off the first layers. Then, as shown here, a cable is placed around a log bundle. A winch on a nearby tractor holds it up and pulls it loose into the river.
