Description: After the main log drive down the Tobique River to the sawmill Fraser Companies Limited sawmill at Plaster Rock, N. B., men armed with pike poles sweep the river on boats to loosen logs caught on the shoals, on the banks or elsewhere. Here men are releasing the logs piled up at a bridge abutment.
