Description: The debarkers at the Edmundston Fraser mill removed bark from 4-foot logs in 1945. Faucets provided water. Wood was brought by haul-up conveyors from the Madawaska River. Once logs were debarked, they were transported inside the mill on conveyors or piled to be used in winter.
