Description: From 1955 onward, Fraser hired workers to salvage wood from the bottom of the Madawaska River during winter. This allowed cleaning-up the river and recuperating logs caught at the bottom of the river. We see a skidder pulling a train of sleds loaded with the salvaged wood on the river. The wood was transported to the Fraser mill in Edmundston.
