Description: Salvaging wood from the Madawaska River in 1970. Wood sunk at the bottom of the river was causing pollution. For that reason, environment laws required that the Fraser companies clean the Madawaska River following the last spring drive in 1967. This crane was used to pull out wood caught in the river bottom and place it on the Haul-Up.
