Truck Unloading into Madawaska River

Description: Pulpwood loaded on trucks from the Davis Mill loading platform in Green River arrives here at the Saint Jacques sluice. Wood slides into the Madawaska River and then floats downstream to the Edmundston pulp mill. It was done that way until the late 1960's.
