Description: Here is a bird's-eye view of the waste treatment retention basin in Iroquois, seen on December 4th, 1972. The three ponds assure the aeration of the liquid waste by increasing the oxygen level in the water. This system was part of the anti-pollution process put in place to reduce pollution emissions at the Edmundston Fraser pulp mill.
