Description: After pulp was dried by the lime-mud washer, this screw conveyor broke and pushed lime outside. Lime was then used to reduce the level of acidity or alkalinity in the waste treatment Iroquois retention basin. This picture was taken at the Edmundston Fraser mill, on October 30th, 1972,
