Description: We see the end of an aluminum pipe buried under a road, June 22nd, 1971. Aluminum pipes were used because of their ability to withstand the weight of passing vehicles. This pipeline was leading to the Iroquois liquid waste treatment basin. This was part of the anti-pollution system of the Edmundston Fraser pulp mill.
