Description: On the left we see the washing and screening department where stock is washed of its impureties. The bleachery is next on the right of the latter. Pulp was washed and bleached in the digester building behind the Jensen tower. Wood chips were cooked and transformed into chemical pulp. The Jensen tower stored the bisulphite required for the digester. In front is the heat recovery cogeneration plant that produces heat energy for both the Edmundston Fraser pulp and paperboard mill in 1981. The building on the extreme right is the wood room where groundwood stock was fabricated.
