Description: The washing and screening department building is under construction at the Edmundston Fraser pulp mill in 1977. Impurities will be washed out of stock. The building on the left is the bleachery where stock is washed and bleached. The first building on the right is the laboratory where tests on the quality of stock are conducted. The digester is completely on the right and is where stock is cooked.
