Description: At this landing of 16-foot logs on the Little Tobique River just below Lake Nictau, men armed with peavies remove the top layer of logs. Thereafter a tractor pushes on the lower tiers many of which are stuck together in the ice. The logs are being started on their 60 mile trip down the river to the Fraser Companies Limited Sawmill in Plaster Rock, N. B.
