Description: At this landing of 16-foot logs on the Little Tobique River, men armed with peavies remove the top layer of logs. Here in this photo, a tractor pushes the 16-foot logs stuck together in ice into the river. The logs are being started on their 60 mile drive down the river to the Fraser Companies Limited Sawmill of Plaster Rock, N. B.
